ISE ORIN full name Tolorunkeke Joshua is a final year medical student of the University of Ibadan who loves God, music and worship passionately. Was born in Kabba, Kogi-state, first child in a family of four and started his music career in a boys-only accapella group in King’s College Lagos called the Expression crew.
He is a worship-leader, song-writer, conference-speaker and an anointed music-minister who has special interests in Yoruba Gospel folk music.
His music draws lots of inspiration from God and from senior people like Nathaniel-Bassey, Kenny-K’ore and Eben-Alonge. He is the Director of the Starlight Music Development Initiative, a christian NGO based in Ibadan, Nigeria established with the sole aim of promoting Gospel Music and her first outreach arm is the University of Ibadan Gospel Music Challenge UIGMC, a Gospel Music competition aimed at raising music ministers who are sound in spirit and skill. Three editions have held now and still counting with much impact.
The NGO also launched a new Gospel record label called ‘StarLight Records’ and will begin to sign and promote Gospel artistes soon.
